These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of blankwallco.com and any purchase from Blankwall Carpentry, 5 Sandgate Rd, Brislington, Bristol BS4 3PT, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order. Orders can be delivered to UK addresses only.

2. Products

We make every effort to show our products accurately. Solid wood is a natural material, so grain, knots, colour and tone will vary between pieces and may differ slightly from images. Dimensions are approximate and may vary by a small margin due to the nature of timber. These natural variations are not considered defects.

3. Orders and Contract

When you place an order, you will receive an order acknowledgement email. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or we cannot verify payment. If we cancel, we will refund you in full.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards and Shop Pay. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you.

5. Delivery

We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Estimated delivery is 6–8 business days (1–2 days processing plus 5–6 days transit). Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

6. Returns and Cancellations

You may return unused items within 30 days of delivery, as set out in our Return & Refund Policy. Items made to custom measurements cannot be returned for change of mind unless faulty or not as described.

7. Assembly, Installation and Care

You are responsible for assembling and installing products according to the instructions provided. Wall-mounted shelves must be fixed securely into studs or with fixings suitable for your wall type, and must not be loaded beyond their stated weight capacity. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect installation, overloading or misuse.

8. Faulty Goods

If an item is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us with your order number and photos.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and designs, belongs to Blankwall Carpentry or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

11. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order will apply to that order.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.
