What are your products made from?
Our shelves, bookshelves, clothing racks and shoe racks are made from solid hardwood: oak, walnut or ash, depending on the product. We do not use chipboard, MDF or laminate.
Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
The design and finish will match. Grain pattern, knots and exact tone vary from board to board, because every piece of solid wood is unique.
What sizes do you offer?
Each product lists its available widths, depths, lengths and tier counts. Closet shelves run from 24” to 65” wide; bookshelves from 30” to 56” wide; shoe racks from 36” to 60” long.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Email info@blankwallco.com with your exact measurements and preferred finish. We will confirm the price and lead time before you order. Custom-sized items cannot be returned unless faulty (see our Return & Refund Policy).
How much weight can a closet shelf hold?
Shelves up to 44” wide include two brackets and hold up to 80 lb (approx. 36 kg). Shelves 48” and wider include three brackets and hold up to 110 lb (approx. 50 kg). These ratings assume the brackets are fixed into wall studs or with fixings suited to your wall type.
Assembly
Do your products need tools to assemble?
Most bookshelves, clothing racks and shoe racks are tool-free and slot together by hand. Closet shelves are wall-mounted with the supplied brackets and screws; you will need a drill and spirit level.
Do you offer installation?
We do not currently offer an installation service. Each product includes simple fitting instructions, and our team can help by email or phone.
Orders & Shipping
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
How long will delivery take?
Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and delivered within 5–6 business days, for a total of 6–8 business days.
Is shipping free?
Yes, standard UK delivery is free on all orders over £50.
Which carriers do you use?
We ship with Royal Mail, DPD and FedEx, depending on the size and weight of your order.
How do I track my order?
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order is dispatched.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible. We can change or cancel orders that have not yet been dispatched.
Returns & Payment
What is your return policy?
You can return unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
Who pays for return postage?
If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, we cover return postage. For change-of-mind returns, return postage is paid by the customer.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards and Shop Pay. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).
