Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your Blankwall Carpentry furniture. This policy explains how returns and refunds work. It does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

1. Return Window

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. This is longer than the 14-day cancellation period required by law.

2. Condition of Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

•             Unused, unassembled where possible, and in the same condition you received them

•             Returned with all parts, brackets, screws and accessories

•             In the original packaging, or packaging that protects the item equally well in transit

We may reduce your refund if an item shows damage or wear caused by handling beyond what is needed to inspect it.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Items made to your custom measurements or specifications cannot be returned for change of mind, as permitted by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This does not affect your rights if a custom item is faulty or not as described.

4. How to Start a Return

1.          Email info@blankwallco.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

2.          Our team will confirm eligibility and send return instructions and the return address.

3.          Pack the item securely and send it back using a tracked service.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as this may delay your refund.

For damaged or incorrect items, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange collection or send a prepaid return label, and offer a replacement or full refund.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the item. Depending on your bank or card provider, the funds may take a further 5–10 business days to appear.

For change-of-mind returns, we refund the item price and the standard delivery cost you paid (if any). Return postage is not refunded.

7. Exchanges

To exchange an item for a different size or finish, return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
